I have always loved to read (my baby book even confirms it!). I have very few friends that like to read also, so I couldn’t really discuss what I had read and my thoughts. I had been following many book blogs for about a year when it finally hit me that I should start my own. Two days later I had a domain and put up my first review. I never really thought that blogging would be so much work, but I love it! It is awesome to always know that there is someone bookish like me that I can have a chat with!
2. Are you an author? If so, what books do you have in the works or out?
No. I don’t have a creative bone in my body and I can barely write and essay, so I leave it to the professionals to keep me entertained.
3. What book bloggers inspire you the most?
There are many blogs that I admire, but I put them into two categories. Blogs that I love purely because the blogger is sweet, writes great reviews, etc. or blogs that I am aiming to become as well known as. For the first category I of course love you Lucy because not only is your blog awesome, but you are super sweet. I also love My Not So Real Life,Wall to Wall Books, and Reading with ABC. As far as blogs I admire I would have to say Katie’s Book Blog, and YA Booklover Blog.
4. What are your book blogging plans for the future?
Hopefully to continue to enjoy blogging and not take it so seriously. I want to continue progressing like I am as a blogger, not only in follower count, but also in the quality of my reviews and content.
5. What is your favorite moment from blogging so far?
Meeting new friends that have welcomed me into blogging with open arms. There are sooooo many awesome bloggers out there and there are all so sweet. My one biggest fear when I started blogging was not being able to make friends. I definitely had no problems and I always know I can always confide in them for anything!

Favorite Round
Book- This is so hard for me because I love so many books. I would have to say the one that I have been thinking about for a while now is Across the Universe by Beth Revis. I loved that book!
Movie- The Help
Song- A tie between A Drop in the Ocean by Ron Pope and My Wish by Rascal Flatts
Food- Anything sweet, fish, and pad Thai
Genre- YA!

When I first started blogging, I wasn't even aware of the humongo community, but when I first started solo blogging, I was also afraid of not making friends! That fear was quickly absolved. ;) Also, McKenna, I think your goals are great! I think it's important to strive to write a quality review- that's something that's hard to find in the book blogging world nowadays, a nice, honest, quality review. I myself am working towards that.

ReplyDeleteMckenna, I love that you are another book blogger who is not a writer. I feel like one of the only non-writer book bloggers out there so it's good to know I'm not alone.
